THIS PAGE PROVIDES AN OVERVIEW OF THE SAD PLIGHT OF THE CHILDREN IN THE FOLLOWING AFRICAN COUNTRIES. AS OFTEN THE CASE IN EVERY POVERTY-STRICKEN COUNTRY, THE CHILDREN SUFFER THE MOST FROM VARIOUS FORMS OF DEPRIVATION, INJUSTICES AND GENERAL HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS.

THESE HAVE RESULTED TO THREATS TO THEIR VERY EXISTENCE.

WHERE RELEVANT, WE ARE ALSO BRIEFLY SUMMARIZING THE INITIATIVES SOCOODEIFE HAS UNDERTAKEN IN ORDER TO ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OF THE  CHILDREN IN THESE COUNTRIES.


Uganda has about 7,310,386 children from the ages
of 5 -18 years (2018).
